Welcome to Us!
After 6 months of gradual transfer and 3 weeks of summer closure, all study and electronic production activities were moved from the historic Lacroix Saint Ouen site to the new 4.0 production site in Venette.
The project team, supported by the companies TETRIS for the transfer engineering (Organization Planning Coordination) and BOVIS for the move, succeeded in transferring 60% of the activity and the 250 employees remaining on the old site in the space of the three weeks of annual closure; thus reducing the impact of this industrial transfer on the daily lives of our employees. It is through good coordination of resources and mastery of the technical issues of a factory restart that this challenge was met, allowing us to open our doors to employees on the scheduled date: Monday August 26, 2024.
This date marks a turning point in the history of Matra Électronique, synonymous with renewal with this brand new industrial tool but also a sign of sustainability and growth for this company created in 1975 which has now grown significantly. It is therefore, not without difficulty, that we said “goodbye” to our old infrastructures, which had become too cramped, but also with great joy that we are integrating this new innovative, agile, responsible and capable work environment.
The next few months will be 100% dedicated to the production of our customers’ electronic equipment, but we will be pleased to welcome you in 2025 during open days to mark the 50th anniversary of Matra Électronique.
Congratulations again to our teams and partners for this successful industrial transfer!
